Time for a Christmas challenge .......

Happy weekend ......

Hope it's a good one for you.
Mine got off to a great start .... I had a lovely crafty day with friends yesterday, although not a lot of craft was done .... well the weather was too nice.
We started with a coffee, sat chatting in the sun, admiring the fabulous sea view.  Then after a little bit of work it was time for lunch, sat in the sun, admiring the sea view.  And we finished the afternoon with tea and cake, sat in the sun admiring the sea view.  I could have sat there all day but I had to get home .... I had a picnic to prepare.  We went up to the Cregg Ny Baa last night to catch the last of the TT Practice Sessions.  And what a glorious evening it was too ..... sorry! no pictures too busy enjoying the food and the company!!

Anyhow .... it may be blue skies and sunshine out there, and I know it's only June but ..... it's time for this months Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge ..... Ho! Ho! Ho!
This month it's all about adding Twine to your designs

As always the challenge is sponsored by the HLS Store

And the winner will receive $15 discount to spend in the store

Here's a really simple festive design using red bakers twine to add a little embellishment

I've simply die cut the letters to make up the word Merry using a Cuttlebug die.

I cut each letter twice from white cardstock, coloured one set using Distress Inks (Festive Berries and Mowed Lawn) and then layered them up to give some dimension

I stamped the rest of my greeting underneath using the HLS Mixed Christmas Sentiments .....

and finished off by adding the baker's twine around the card, and a cute little Christmas bell.

Why not pop over to the HLS Blog and see more ideas for using Twine on your Christmas designs from the rest of the Design Team.

Thanks for popping by .... enjoy the rest of your day and have a great weekend.

Cheerio until next time
